The “Life is Beautiful” stamp set has these gorgeous leaves and a huge tree making it perfect for all seasons. I hope you like my fall inspired one with the wee birdhouse. Nice cozy colours for a fall day!
Today’s card is from Glenda Mollet and features a stamp set I totally overlooked in the Aug-Dec Mini catalogue! For $23, this stamp set with 2 greetings and the versatile holly and ivy stamps is perfect for making your own patterns. This would be GREAT for making holiday placemats or wrapping paper. As a two-step stamp, it’s a snap to stamp the outline then insert the leaves. Gorgeous card, Glenda! Thanks for sharing.
You can tell we’ve got the holidays on the brain with these latest posts. What I want to point out with this card are two things: 1) The tree could totally be hearts or pumpkins or apples or any other shape that you can make 3D by adhering several punched shapes together and 2) 3D cards are easy to make, right? In this case, there were 3 die cut triangles as the trees that fold flat for mailing and “fluff” up for the 3D look.
My thanks to Diane Hutchinson from Alberta who designed this card and sent it to me. A really versatile layout!
Kind of non-traditional colours used on today’s holiday card, wouldn’t you say? A sweet and simple layout that works for any patterned paper you have on hand. Card making doesn’t need to be complicated. Just stamps / inks / paper. Enjoy!
A simply pretty holiday card! On this one, the die used cuts the inside of the tree out as shown. If you want it to also cut out the tree shape, use the matching dies in the “In The Pines” die set. The paper is from “Trimming the Town” one of our papers going on sale in October! Stay tuned for more details on the sale.
I’ve learned a “throw back” technique which is a “new” technique to me! This is just a sneak peak of the pretty pattern this makes. I’ll be teaching this technique during my World Card Making Day FREE event Oct 3 from 1p to 3p over Zoom. Register on my Events Page to get the link.
I’m pleased to share this very pretty card designed by my friend Glenda Mollett. Just love the elegant, simple look of this card. And for anyone who’s wondering, YES, those triple-pearls do go through the mail just fine. A beautiful, multi-layered card.
This is one of my “go-to” layouts when I have pretty patterned paper to show off. Square, circles, hearts, ovals…whatever is your pleasure for shapes on a card base with a greeting and simple embellishments. I do love this Autumn paper!
When I make cards, I usually grab a stamp set and make at least 4 different cards using that set. Partly as a demonstrator so I can show the versatility of the set and partly because I want to make sure I get the most I can out of the investment! These 6 cards all use the same set and boy versatility is the name of the game here! Lots of small images (29 total stamps in the set) that cover everyday, fall, Christmas, Hallowe’en and even Valentine’s Day. The stamp set is Banner Year and it’s a great bargain at $23. Hope you like them!
Posting this card from my Team Challenge a few weeks back. I put out a sketch and my team responds with their interpretation. For mine, I used the Posted for You stamp set and punch. I was inspired by a card on Pinterest and love the diversity of the punch. More to come from this set!
