Today is the last day to earn a free item for your $60 or $120 order from Stampin’ Up! Be sure and get the ones you like! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Thoughtful Blooms stamp set these past few months. One of my favourite in a long time! The vase on this card was made using the Hot Air Balloon punch upside down. A great additional use for this punch. I’ve added some small bloom flowers in Poppy Parade cardstock punched leaves. A few sequins are sprinkled around to add some sparkle to the card. Enjoy!
Sale-A-Bration ends TOMORROW! Thought I’d share a few more cards made with some of our free products in the next two days: Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set and Small Bloom Punch. I found stamping the leaf around in a circle went way easier than expected to line up evenly! Then I stamped a variety of flowers and punched them out with the matching Small Bloom punch. The greeting fit right inside. The background is the Purple Posy cardstock. I hope you find this card brightens your day!
As soon as I saw these in the Occasions catalogue, I was in love with the animals. They are so adorable! The little mouse is the perfect critter to bring thank you greetings, I think! This set also has a lovely flower on a stem that all the animals can hold. Something I have also been away from is using our Linen Thread. With the woodland animals, I see using Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Poppy Parade that is earthy and blends nicely with the Painted Poppies paper. He’s just so darn cute holding that flower!
We’re winding down to the end of our annual Sale-A-Bration where you can pick up stamp sets, paper packs, dies and even a punch with your $60 or $120 purchase. Today’s card features the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and matching Lily Pad dies. Get them both with your $120 purchase! We did this card at my March card class. Just love the pop of colour on the black and white background. Contact me to place your order!
You sure get your money’s worth with the Vase Builder Punch: 3 vase shapes, leaf AND a teeny flower! I very recently purchased this punch and the Vibrant Vases stamp set but they have been out for a good year now. I really love the greetings with this set. The vases are also often displayed without flowers on cards I’ve seen posted on Pinterest so this set and punch will certainly go a long way!
What do you think of this squirrel on the background of flowers? I think he looks just adorable! This stamp set has lots of woodland animals – stay tuned for more! – and are so lifelike looking. This is achieved through the two-step stamping process: one colour for each part of the two stamps that go together. The fur really looks 3D!
Last weekend I challenged myself to use a few stamp sets that I had not played with very much or at all! So this next few weeks of posts will be with these loved items that I’ve recently started to play with. First up: Tasteful Textures. This bundle has 3 dies that you can use in many different ways. On today’s card I used one die to cut out the shape within the stitched circle. Behind it I placed a layer of our Lily Impressions patterned paper so it shows through like a window. I also have the Well Written Dies which is where the “Thanks” greeting comes from. Enjoy!
In addition to Remembrance Day, when I think of poppies, I also think of Father’s Day as they are usually in full bloom in Southern Ontario in mid-June. Now we can enjoy them anytime with this gorgeous bundle. This suite of products has another bundle with greetings to go with it and this beautiful paper. I’ve die cut the whole flowers out with the Designer Series Paper and the outlining die cuts with Rich Razzleberry. Just love these flowers and hope you enjoy this post, too!
This pattern is by far my favourite of the gorgeous prints in the Lily Impressions DSP that has been free with min. $60 orders this Sale-A-Bration! I have used it A LOT! The fold is called a “Joy Fold” with the piece that folds over on the left changing in width as desired. I made the flap 2” wide x 5” long. I score at 1” with that 1” x 2” piece hiding between the card base and a matching layer in Grapefruit Grove. Use your bone folder to get a crisp fold on it. With the other layers, it needs little more than a greeting to spark joy!
love this unique card that Marilyn made for our swaps in March! The kite lifts
up to reveal your message on the inside of the card. For now, the Honeybee
Bundle is on back order but will return we are hopeful in April. Nice contrast
between the bold Granny Apple Green and the black and white plus Crushed Curry
on the rest of the card. Here’s a video on how to make this type of card for
those of you so inspired:
